For those who aren't familiar with the now widely used art of live looping, all sounds are made and recorded live and a pedal (tool) is used to record and loop/repeat things on the fly so they can then be layered over each other. I use a Boss RC50, and the acoustic is fed through a TS9 overdrive and a Crybaby wah pedal for tonal enhancement.

Lyrics:
Headlights leak into the room
And I can’t sleep. There’s not much I can do
I’m staring at the ceiling
My thoughts are clear
And I can’t sleep
It’s out of my hands, and I’m not faking
I cannot believe how far I’ve been taken
And I know that it’s sleeping in my bed tonight
Don’t wake me up in the morning
Don’t wake me up, just let me be alone
It’s the way I came into this world
Headlights leak into the room
And I can’t sleep. There’s not much I can do
I’m staring at the ceiling
My thoughts are clear
And I can’t sleep
I can't sleep
